Where Is Your Road Headed This Fall?

A Blog Post by Katie Stankiewicz

· Personal Growth

Fall is here and that brings focus to the last part of the year … and your goals. How are they coming along? I hope this finds you in full action to exceed them! If you find yourself stuck in a cycle of frustration in regard to goals, it’s time to get in check and start moving!

"The horse, the horse! The symbol of surging potency and power of movement, of action."
- D.H. Lawrence

Life is the surging power of movement. As the quote states - of action! Whether you’re seeking a life change, creating a new business or increasing your heart-centered work, action is the operative word. The potency of change does not happen without action. The actions which translate to change, are yours alone.

Think beyond obstacles and excuses to foster clarity in your decisions. The relationship within this dynamic reinforces beneficial new behaviors, which facilitates recovery and growth. Envision progress, embrace opportunities and the energy of self-fulfillment! When you move awareness into reality, you experience a “new & improved you” and that’s powerful!

Fall seems to usher in a season of multiple changes and movement. Warmer weather ebbs into cooler air which nudges us to get ready for winter. Mother Nature takes care of seasonal change. Just as nature provides sustenance and balance, we should be cognizant of our inner needs.

Summer has a lazy relaxed rush to it - perhaps there wasn't a set routine or you enjoyed a family vacation. Fall seems more compartmentalized and demanding along with the sense of preparing for winter. There always seems to be a "To-Do" list. How many of you have dedicated "Growth Time" on that To-Do List?

This fall earmark making "Growth Time" a priority! Actually set aside time for your own inner peace, balance and pleasure. This does not need to interrupt your life. Instead, take moments to reflect, dream, meditate, which will enable clarity and prosperity. Enjoy life's simple pleasures, give yourself space for growth. "Growth Time" designed as a self-fulfilling goal sets aside a quiet place for you to recharge and prepare for hectic schedules. Let's face it, without you, your heart-centered business will not run smoothly! For me, this is one of the most difficult things in my life. As a mother, wife, business owner, there are copious demands. I am committed to finding a daily piece of "Growth Time".

"No matter what the final goal, it's very important to set attainable daily goals- then follow them."
- Mary Kay Ash

Focusing on that attainable goal of making just a little time for yourself every day, is the most powerful way to realize larger goals. "Growth Time" affords the opportunity to take a deep breath, think and then go forward.

"Visualize this thing that you want, see it, feel it, believe in it. Make your mental blueprint and begin to build."
- Robert Collier
